The Mini Tabletop Clay Extruder with Press Attachment

I designed this mini clay extruder out of a need to find a solution to making consistent handles that didn’t cause overexertion or pain to my hands or arms and needed minimal water (I don’t have running water in my little studio shed). The added press attachment provides a solid platform for stamping the base of a pot which is very useful.

With guest appearance from nosey collie dog, Gus!

The Potter’s 3rd Arm

Available as a stand alone tool or as an attachment for the Extruder above. For those moments when you just need something to hold your pot horizontally so you have use of both your hands.

The Best Foot

A small but mighty tool! I love making plates but hate plates that have a flat base as I feel this is too much raw clay potentially scratching table surfaces. I developed this tool after I had a large order of plates come in for one customer and I wanted to ensure consistency over the set.

The best foot tool gives a really lovely shaped foot which is the perfect height if you want to glaze the base of your plate or just want to have minimal raw ceramic touching the ground.

Throwing Ribs

I’ve designed 4 different mug shaped rib, covering all the basic shapes needed. All my ribs have a sharp angled edge so it acts a bit like a metal rib that scrapes the slip/water covered surface off your pot as you are forming the piece. They also have an inbuilt foot shape reducing the trimming your pot needs at the leather hard stage and elevates your pot off the ground, providing visual interest and a lightness to the final form. All come with a magnet for ease of storage.

Each rib shape now comes in 3 different sizes along with left handed versions.
